English: Construction of a house in the former township Dukatole (Maletswai, South Africa).
The building of a house is provided within the scope of a of a house building project by the Sisters of Holy Cross. A remarkable concept of this and other projects is: No one gets anything for free, all have to contribute with their own hands and work. "That way, people maintain what is given to them. In contradiction, govermnental give away of houses, which are more expensive and less sturdy, does not help: The people receiving the gift have no means or efforts to claim that give away as home" [An interpretation of Sr. Tharsilla words] Deutsch: Bau eines Hauses im ehemaligen Township Dukatole (Maletswai, Südafrika). Der Hausbau wird im Rahmen eines von den Schwestern vom heiligen Kreuz initierten Hausbauprojektes erstellt. In Gruppen von jewils 10 Beteiligten wird in Selbsthilfe ein Haus erstellt. |
